Elohim is the Hebrew ''word'' for Gods.
Elohim is not singular because, Yahweh is 'elohe' of elohim... Yahweh is God of Gods... Deuteronomy 10:17 The Only time that God was One Being and Elohim was IN THE BEGINNING In the Beginning, Elohim created the Heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 In the Beginning was The Word. The Word was God (Elohim)... John 1:1 And Elohim said, Let There Be Light! Or, Light Become! Or literally, Light Be! Genesis 1:3 And Light Became: The Light of the world John 8:12 Elohim became Yahweh Genesis 2:4 and His 'Words' became The Bright Morning Star Revelation 22:16 The First 'Born' of All Creation (The Holy Spirit) Colossians 1:15 The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she conceived the 'Word', emmanuel: a Hebrew 'word', not a name, that means; God with us, and they named Him Jesus in English, Lesous in Greek, Isa or Yasu in Arabic, Yeshua, rather, Yahshua in Hebrew or Heysus as pronounced in Spanish. Jesus called Himself, Son of Man. And, man has his own spirit. Romans 8:16 Jesus was tortured, crucified and gave up "His" ghost/spirit and died. His God and Father (John 20:17) raised His Son from the dead and exalted Him to the Throne "at" His right hand.
