Works are Not the Law
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, (Not the Law) which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has "done". Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man will come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has "done". Matthew 25:31-46 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, (Did you go to church on Sunday or Temple on Saturday? Did you speak in tongues? No He will Not. He will say) ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these "brothers" of Mine, you did for Me.’ (Matthew 12:48-50) Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 7:19-23 Every tree that does not bear good "fruit" is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their "fruit" you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ (Not faith alone or grace alone or gifts alone) Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ John 15:1-17 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no "fruit", and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples. As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. This is My Commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I Command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. This is My Command to you: Love one another. 1st Corinthians 14:1 Earnestly pursue "love", (Galatian 5:22,23 The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.) and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and especially that you might prophesy. (1st Corinthians 12-14) Luke 11:13 Therefore if you, being evil, (Romans 3:10) know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father who is in Heaven give the Holy Spirit, to those who 'ask' Him!" Here is an example prayer Almighty God, I believe You raised your Son Jesus from the dead. Please forgive me of all my sins and fill me with Your Holy Spirit so I can bear good fruit and do Your will, in the name of Jesus my Lord and Christ. Amen. Thank you Father God, Thank you Lord Jesus. Halleluyah! Praise u Yah! (Yahweh is the proper name of God) Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness." 2nd Timothy 2:19 Proudly powered by Weebly
